Nanda is a very sweet alpaca with a very calm disposition. She is an excellent mother and produces LOTS of milk.

Nanda produces color, so we bred her to Black Meadow Farm's Kona for a July 2011 cria.

WOW, talk about an action packed pedigree!  Tama is a quality full Peruvian female with lots of color and Accoyo combined in her pedigree.  Her herdsire WWR Prince Greystone is a multiple Champion including being a two time Futurity Grey Color Champion.  Her dam is a beautiful brown Blue Ribbon winning MacGyver daughter, out of an Accoyo Baron dam.  The possibilities are limitless with this genetic package.

WWR Prince Greystone is a premier rose grey, full Peruvian suri herdsire and his show ring accomplishments are unparalleled. Judges across the country have acclaimed Greystone's consistent, uniform rose grey fleece with it's high luster and independent locks. Min Fu has all of the characteristics of a solid white female alpaca when she was born. She has so much luster though that it is difficult to get a good picture of her. Adding a great white female with color on BOTH sides of her background is a great way to get the best of both worlds. So if you ae breeding for color, Min Fu is for you. Her Dam is our own Cactus and her sire, Jax Crossfire is a second generation champion out of Sweet Foxfire Jax. Born July 16th at 1:00 in the afternoon at Black Meadow Farm. This is our second female in 2009 and she came out weighing 25 pounds. This girl has the ropey, tighty twisted fiber that we have been working toward over the last couple of years. We are calling her Seta which means silk in Italian. Seta is light fawn in color and is out of our champion stud Merlin. Seta is our second cria out of Merlin and she is so awesome that we are going to breed Nanda back to Merlin to see if we can duplicate this super alpaca.

Trilogy is an outstanding beige female.  She has exemplary luster and her locks are to the skin.  Trilogy has plenty of color in her pedigree.  Trilogy is out of Tin Roof's Peruvian Shakespeare. Shakespeare received a 1st Place Eau Claire Show, 1st place Northern Illinois 2003, and a 3rd Place AOBA 2004 Louisville KY.

Niagra River is the epitome of health and vitality. She has spunk and charisma to go with her flashy fawn and white pattern. The gray in her face, ears and legs just makes her potential even more interesting. Fiber density, coverage and tight locks combine with her perfect conformation and sturdy frame to make Niagra River the complete suri package. River herself exhibits some of the densest, tightly locked fleece you will ever see, with a soft, fine handle that is delightful to touch. She sheared over 7.5 pounds of blanket for her second shearing. With a caramel colored body, white neck and feet and silver grey face, she’s also lovely just to look at. Niagra River’s sire is Pervuian Accoyo Diamond River 233 who is a full accoyo with gorgeous fiber and wonderful presence. Dense, uniform fleece with well defined locks.

Koreana's newest cria above, Twisted Magic

Koreana has great coverage, down to her toes, a very correct bite and conformation. She is an excellent, protective mother with a sweet disposition. She even has a cute little beauty mark in the fiber of her left cheek. In 2005, she had a stunning black female Suri cria named Kashmiri. Then she was bred back to Captain Morgan and she delivered a beautiful, true black male cria in June right on her scheduled due date. Koreana was then bred to Epazote, a stunning medium brown suri male and just produced another black male cria called Black Meadow's Jersey Joe.

In 2009 we matched Kore with our award winning male Merlin and the result is a Merlin look alike male which we named Twisted Magic. He appears to be the best cria that we produced this year.

Kore gave birth to a bouncing black baby boy cria in 2008 and a good looking Merlin boy in 2009.

“Rosey” is a beautiful Rum Runner daughter, with extreme luster and a rose-colored undertone.  Her pencil-like locks are extremely fine and cool to the touch  She has dense and uniform coverage from head to toe.  Her conformation is excellent.

Rosey's sire, Rum Runner is a dark rose grey (851910), He is a full peruvian - Full Peruvian gray herdsire out of Magnifico. He is a large male with outstanding conformation, tremendous eye-appeal, and gorgeous flowing locks. Rum Runner, won Championship awards at both MAPACA and The Futurity, as well as top honors at Northern Illinois and the AOBA Nationals. His first offspring is a gorgeous, lustrous maroon male with all the attitude of a future show-winner and sire. The second is a rose gray/silver gray female, with a black/gray head, and an incredible wet, greasy feel to her fiber. The third is a medium silver gray male.

Odyssey is a really nice medium brown female Suri with impeccable conformation. Her fleece is dense, well locked and shows really nice luster and handle. Captain Morgan is the grandson of PPervian Bruxo, the son of DDF Peruvian MacGyver,(who has won "Herdsire Of The Year," 5 years in a row). Captain Morgan has been runner up for Herdsire Of The Year for the last four years (2005, 2006 2007 & 2008).

Odyssey third female cria is out of Black Meadow's Kona who is a Captain Morgan son. Odyssey has only produced medium to dark brown females which make her a great choice for your foundation herd.

Bred To: Macho Man

Cactus is a medium brown female. Cactus has a nice straight back and legs with dense fiber but is soft and silky to the touch.

Cactus was sired by Pappa Gallo, a gray and fawn appaloosa who won 1st place in his class and 1st place breeder's best at the 2003 AOBA National Show. Cactus' dam, Charly, is a 10-year old, medium fawn, full Peruvian female who has been an excellent producer for Ameripaca. Her 1999 cria, Piccadilly, is an outstanding grey and black colored suri female. Her fleece won 1st place at the 2003 Ohio Alpacafest. Charly's 2002 cria Charly's Angel is a grey appaloosa suri female who was sold at the 2002 Breeder's Choice Auction for $40,000. We think that Cactus is a great addition to our herd and we look forward to matching her up with one of our champion herdsires in 2008.

Bobby Sock is the darkest offspring currently produced by LCA's Accoyo Rico. LCA Rico is one of only a handful of full Accoyo males sired by the infamous Inca. He is the only fawn full, Accoyo, Inca son to grace the U.S. suri herd. The most striking trait of this herdsire is LUSTER, LUSTER, LUSTER. He and Odyssey both passed these traits on to Bobby Socks. Accoyo Rico was the 2005 & 2006 AOBA and MAPACA color champion!
