Kona

Kona's First Cria. Kona has four cria on the ground, a true black, two dark browns, and a fancy (white and medium fawn). He is batting 50/50 on the boy/girl ratio.

First Cria

Dam: Aysen's La Koreana IMPQ98, Medium Fawn, ARI# 804725
Sire: Captain Morgan, Dark Brown, ARI# 818920

AVS Kona is the great grandson of PPervian Bruxo, the grandson of DDF Peruvian MacGyver,(who has won "Herdsire Of The Year," 6 years in a row) and son of the renowned Captain Morgan (runner up for Futurity Herdsire Of The Year - 2005, 2006 2007, AND 2008). . The combination of Kona’s full Chilean dam La Koreana (light fawn) and Captain (dark brown) sire produced a True Black beauty that has lock and luster throughout as shown in the pictures! You won’t see a lot of true black Captain crias in the show ring! Kona has dense coverage from the tips of his ears to his toes. AVS Kona has exceptional conformation characteristic of his lineage and a great disposition.

AVS Kona has been holding his own in the show ring under tough competition. We fully expect him to get better with age and prove to be a good herdsire. So don't be surprised if his price and reputation starts to rise. We believe that he will track just like our other Captain Morgan son, Morganson. At MAPACA in 2006 Morganson placed 3rd; this year he was the 2007 MAPACA Brown Suri Male Color Champion!

When Kona is ready to breed and we are offering a special promotion - 5 For 5. This means that for $5,000 you can buy any combination of breedings, trades, or complimentary breeding totaling 5 for $5,000. Use them how you need them and when you need them. Why buy a herd sire when you can get all of the benefit of one for such a great price?
